This is an Origins addon using the same mechanics from MoriyaShiine's Piglin Origin within Extra Origins. Some compromises had to be made as a result of datapack limitations.
Changes
- Removal of Piglin Neutrality
- Homesick zombification will happen, no matter what after 1 minute. After that the player receives a weakness 2 debuff, fire resistance and water breathing buffs for 30 minutes.
- Probably some other numbers that got messed up due to lack of understanding of how datapacks work compared to having full access to the Fabric API
Why?
I made this because one of my friends is making a Minecraft server and they really really want the mods that Forge has to offer (ew...) but MoriyaShiine's Extra Origins addon was Fabric only (Literally peak... other than the transphobia (Not cool (Use Quilt instead))). I didn't know how to use Forge's modding API nor did I care enough to learn it, so I went with the next best thing and used Datapacks which is effectively cross-platform in terms of modding APIs. Only issue is that the Extra Origins has some features that seem like its only possible to use when there is a modding API involved. So had to make some compromises as a result, luckily the Piglin origin seems to be the least reliant on using Fabric, so thats cool.
